Our Story
begins from our home
My nephew Ebaad was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome at just three years old, a kidney disorder that causes the body to leak protein from blood into the urine. Our family soon learned just how tricky it would be to manage the disease. Although testing his protein levels was essential, the weekly lab visits and waiting for results proved burdensome, demanding, and inefficient. We faced many struggles: inaccurate, delayed results and difficulty connecting his diet, medication dosage, and disease progression. But the worst part was nephrotic syndrome’s effect on Ebaad and how it truly impacted his childhood.
Thankfully, we learned to simplify the process with a urine dipstick. With this, we could conduct tests from the comfort and privacy of our home and achieve rapid results. Further, we could log Ebaad’s results online and share digital copies with his doctors, all at a fraction of the cost.
